The concept of designing HC 6000 series is to revolutionise the traditional power metering industry. HC 6000 is a compact, electronically advanced and programmable multi-display metering device (MDMD). It is an ideal for the demand of future electrical metering industry.

The HC 6000 greatly reduced cabling complexity and time. It is also a standardise hardware and suitable for either 1 phase 2 wires, 1 phase 3 wires, 3 phase 3 wires, or 3 phase 4 wires system.

HO 6000 series is having the advanced technical specialities such as overload capabilities, accuracy levels, long term stability, and readout dependability etc.

HO 6000 series supports the VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen with green (naturally comfortable) alphanumeric readouts. This allows visual clarity at long distance yet avoids parallax errors for close range viewing.

HO 6000 series is equipped with serial ports RS-485 and RS-232 for the connect ion of open architecture computerised network. Complying with Modbus RTU/DNP3.0 protocol allows HO 6000 runs on the P0 or data acquisition system or the BA, FA and small industry automation.

Parameters Conversion

The microprocessor-based power meter now provides compatibility with the modicon Modbus. System as a standard feature. From the VFD multi-display reading V,A, VA, W, Var, WH, etc. more than 30 power and energy parameters. Via the RS-485 Modbus, communications, including the instant maximum and minimum of all parameter, maximum demand control,time stamping, etc. more than 90 parameters can be achieved by remote monitoring system.

Factory & Building Automation (FA&BA)

HC 6000 is designed for factory and building automation (FA&BA) applications. HC 6000 allows more power and energy parameters to easily apply into the wide range of AC switchgear and industrial power distribution and metering system.

Build-in Real Time Clock (RTC)

HC 6000 is built in with RTC / which provides an internal time standard and stamp for all the records of max. and mm. energy measurements. RTC can be used for max. power demand control of utility load shedding.

Memory for all setup and energy data

HC 6000 is able to retain all the setting status and energy data in memory while power failure situation. HC 6000 records all kinds of data like watt-hour, max. demand value, data and time, PT&CT ratio, system configuration, display setting, communication and etc.

On site programmability

HC 6000 is able to set CT&PT ratio, ModbusΠaddress, communication baud rate, parity, display and etc. on site. by either push the bottom on the panel or through the communication port at rear of the HC 6000 to the PC.

The PLC compatible (RS-485i RS-232) ModbusΠRTU/DNP3.0 protocol allows information and data to be efficiently transferred between HC 6000 and RTU/ Power SCADA system, DCS system.

Applications

The HC 6000 PCTool utility program that can help user to connect to HC 6000 Power Meter / Transducer rapidly. The HC 6000 PCTool is provided along with every HC 6000, which allows easy access to all meter setup information and actual vales via a personal computer running Windows 95/98 and one of the PCs Communication ports (COM1 or COM2).The PCTool is able to do the function as bellow:

• Program / Modify setup information

• Load / save setup information files from / to disk

• Read actual Basic value (current / Voltage I power / frequency)

The HC 6000 PCTool can be used as stand-alone without a HC 6000 to create or edit HC 6000 setup information file.
